Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom

Bayon Temple is the centrepiece of the vast, sprawling Angkor Thom complex. It was the royal city and the last capital of the Angkorian empire. Bayon is constructed of thousands of blocks of rock into which figures have been carved including 171 large heads. In most cases, the four faces on each tower face in the four cardinal directions.
