I had the privilege of attending the Surf Boat events held at Fingal Beach on 9th March, 2012 and have assembled a lightbox featuring the highlights of the day. Back in Sydney again after my 5 weeks working in NZ. It doesn't seem to matter how many times I go there, there are always some great photo opportunities. Sunday 4th March saw the finals contested by some of the best surfboard riders in the world at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. The men's event was won by Taj Burrow and the women's by Stephanie Gilmore, both from Australia against some stiff overseas competition. I have put together a few images of a classic guitar combo - Rickenbacker guitar and a Vox AC30 amp. While not traditionally a blues combo, throw in a Vox tube pedal, you can get it wailing with the best of them. This shoot was an exercise in working on a particular look & feel.
